1. About the app
Crosswords for Kids is an educational picture-crossword game designed for children and families. Its Android package name is com.crosswordsforkids.game.
The app does not require an account and does not include chat, social features, user-generated content, or a developer-operated online profile.
2. Information stored on the device
The app stores gameplay information locally on the user's device, including level progress, completed levels, coins and hints, and settings. The app may also cache the current Premium status, while Google Play remains the source used to confirm and restore a Premium purchase.
This gameplay information is not sent to BooBooBoo Studios. Android may include gameplay progress in the user's encrypted system backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on the user's Android and Google backup settings. Clearing the app's data removes the local copy; after an uninstall or device change, Android may restore a backup if the user has enabled that system feature. A Premium purchase can be restored through Google Play.
3. Advertising and data handled by Google AdMob
The free version of the app may offer optional rewarded advertisements. The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google AdMob. Ad requests are configured for child-directed treatment and a maximum ad content rating of G. The app does not use advertising mediation or other advertising networks.
The Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share:
- an IP address, which may be used to estimate approximate location;
- app interactions, such as app launches, taps, and advertisement views;
- diagnostic information, such as loading time, performance, or crash-related data; and
- device or app identifiers, such as an App Set ID.
The app removes Android permissions for access to the Android advertising ID. Information handled by the Google Mobile Ads SDK may be used for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Data transmitted by the SDK is encrypted in transit.
BooBooBoo Studios does not sell personal information.
4. Premium purchase
The app may offer a one-time Premium upgrade through Google Play. Google Play processes the payment. BooBooBoo Studios does not receive or store a user's card number, bank details, or other payment credentials.
The app and Google Play may exchange a purchase confirmation or purchase status so that Premium features can be unlocked or restored.
5. Information we do not ask children to provide
The app does not ask users to provide a name, email address, phone number, postal address, exact location, contacts, photos, messages, health information, or payment details. The app does not allow users to create an account.
If a parent or guardian contacts us by email, we receive the sender's email address and the information included in the message so that we can respond.
6. Service providers
Information described in this policy may be handled by:
- Google AdMob / Google Mobile Ads SDK, to provide optional rewarded advertisements, analytics, and security; and
- Google Play, to distribute the app and process and restore a Premium purchase when available; and
- Android system backup and device transfer, to restore gameplay progress when the user has enabled the relevant device or Google backup feature.

7. Children's privacy
Crosswords for Kids is intended for children, including children under 13. We do not create personal profiles for children, enable communication between users, or ask children to submit personal information.
Advertising requests are configured for child-directed treatment and the maximum G content rating. Parents and guardians can contact us with any privacy question or concern.
8. Retention and deletion
BooBooBoo Studios does not operate a server that stores user accounts or child profiles for this app.
- The local copy of gameplay data remains on the device until the user clears the app's data or uninstalls it.
- If Android system backup is enabled, a backup copy of gameplay progress may be retained and restored according to the user's Android and Google backup settings and Google's retention controls.
- Purchase records are retained and managed by Google Play according to Google's policies.
- Information handled by Google AdMob is retained and deleted according to Google's policies and controls.
- Emails sent to us are kept only as long as reasonably needed to answer the request, maintain necessary records, protect the app, or comply with law.
Because the app has no user accounts, there is no in-app account-deletion process. A parent or guardian may contact us if they believe a child has sent personal information to BooBooBoo Studios.
9. Security
Data sent by the Google Mobile Ads SDK is encrypted in transit. We limit the app's features and permissions and do not operate a remote gameplay database. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information handled.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its services, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page, and the “Last updated” date will be revised.
